A Person

RICH GRACE was founded by Omari R.I in 2020

a filmmaker, software engineer, and interdisciplinary artist whose creative roots trace back to the West Philadelphia neighborhood of Mantua, affectionately known as “Da Bottom”.

Raised in a community shaped by cultural diversity and economic contrast, Omari developed an expansive vision of what was possible from an early age. At 17, he oversaw fundraising campaigns as president of his high school BuildOn group to construct a school in Nicaragua, breaking the foundation with his own hands—anchoring his commitment to purpose-driven work.

After studying at Temple University, Omari built a career as a cinematographer, drone operator, and editor for major brands including Reebok, Brisk, Monster, My Perfect Pillow, and Atlantic Records. Yet, seeking deeper impact beyond commercial storytelling, he shifted toward education and software development during the pandemic.
Omari believes filmmaking is a transformative tool—one that allows us to document, examine, and better understand our lived experiences. He champions filmmaking as a safe space for young people to explore identity, process decisions, and imagine new futures.
